A206 is used in high performance markets and is known for being lightweight and durable.

Woodland/Alloy Casting offers sand castings meeting mechanical properties as defined by AMS (Aerospace Material Specifications)

A206.0-T4 AMS 4236B

The T-4 temper gives the material a higher elongation but lower strength

A206.0 - T71  AMS 4235B

The T-71 temper gives this material higher strength but lower elongation

 

 

A206 is excellent to machine and produces great finishes. It is also corrosion resistant with paint or Alodine treatments.

 

Woodland/Alloy Casting produces castings in both Green Sand and Airset making them very affordable.
